Barrister Bahadur Ali Bokhari
Barrister Bahadur Ali Bokhari is a highly experienced specialist criminal advocate. He undertook his Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in England followed by the Bar Vocational Course there.
During his 16 years of practice in England and Wales he has appeared in numerous serious cases across all areas of criminal work, including Terrorism, Extradition, White-Collar Crime, Cyber Crime, Homicide, Gang-related offences, Sexual Offences, Drug Trafficking and Distribution, Human Trafficking, Firearms Offences, Serious Public Order Offences, Money Laundering and POCA. He has assisted banks who have been victims of fraud through cyber activities and money laundering, such as Barclays and HSBC. Also accommodated the interviews of employees who have been involved in fraud against account holders.
Lectured sole proprietors and business on demerits of hiding behind the veil of incorporation to evade tax, bank loan repayment and other financial/legal liabilities. I employed procedures to lift the veil of incorporation to secure the requisite result for the lending institutions.
Barrister Bahadur Bokhari delivered countless lectures on International Law and Crime; including the ambit of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (England & Wales) affects banks, money transfer businesses, traders and overseas investors and has also travelled to China, Hong Kong and Spain with a view to collate evidence in terrorism and money laundering cases.
Most notably, he represented Omni Group undertaking forensic accounting prior to preparing their submissions.
